As heavy as you can handle without breaking form. They fucking hurt. This was a game changer for me.
I just did these last week. They are pretty brutal and the pump is insane..

I'm all in on this one ^^ I like unusual angles as well. Genetics... Yes and no. I understand the argument. Anyways I will give the flared out elbows a tryPeople will tell you that it's all about genetics, muscle bellies, insertions, etc... The reality is you can definitely focus your training to target specific areas of all muscle groups and improve them; including but not limited to biceps. The genetics argument is a cop outI know this through my experience growing my lateral delts significantly over the past two years through targeted adjustments in my shoulder training. For your biceps try attaching a rope to the bottom of a cable apparatus. stand straight and hold your scapula back then hold the two ends of the rope together and flare your elbows to the side. Curl up and in from this position and you should feel a significant emphasis on your outer bicep 'peak'. It may take a set or two to adjust but this shit worked well for me. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
Hammer curls build the underlying bicep muscles causing them to push the top muscles out. Will make a huge difference.
Where is the brachialis muscle located? The brachialis muscle is located in the lower anterior compartment of the upper arm. It is situated beneath the biceps brachii muscle and at the inferior portion of the humerus bone, which runs from shoulder to elbow.
I took this from a Google search
I don’t have a position either way on muscle shaping vs genetics, but the best argument I heard against muscle shaping was that Arnold’s left bicep was longer and didn’t have the peak of his right arm, and presumably did exactly the same exercises.
Interesting stuff man. ThanksThanks for that.
I don't know how many photos I have looked at of Arnold (and it's a bunch),
and I am embarrassed to say that I never noticed the difference between
the two until you pointed it out and I have a pretty critical eye.
If a true biceps 'peak' were obtainable via selected exercises, than everybody
who wanted one would have one and I don't think that is the case.
Could pick other body parts as well but I trust you get my point. We all look
different. That is what makes bodybuilding fun and enjoyable to look at.
The variations in human anatomy is incredible and not in all cases are subject
to change. A bitter pill for some to swallow I know all too well.
Boyer Coe, known for his peaked / split biceps (like Albert Beckles) tells a story
about when he started working out. He was so excited by his improvement that
he flexes his biceps for his Dad . . . look at this Dad! His Dad flexes his own arm
and it has the exact same shape. So much for genetics.
And take a look at Sergio Oliva. Zero peak no matter how hard he tried to get a 'peak',
and trust me, he tried every exercise known to man and no dice.
Larry Scott, known for his low, full biceps credited the Preacher Curl for that development.
If true, everybody who did preacher curls would have full, low biceps. (He had no real
peak like Sergio.). Larry's arms would have looked the same preacher curls or not. Of
course you could never convince him of that. But that is another story.
I worked out with a young man years and years ago who had a baseball for biceps.
Had a huge gap between his forearm and biceps (when flexed). Try as he may he
could never fill that void. We did the exact same arm routine for years. My arms
never looked like his and his never looked like mine. I wanted his, he wanted mine,
such is life. Make the best with what you have and be happy with it (the happy
part is the rub).
Could go on and on but don't want to bore you.
Some can, some can't. It's called genetics. We can all improve, some more than
others.
Yeah def has a lot to do with genetics. I’ve worked hard on my biceps and still don’t have too much of a peak. My arms are over 18” but don’t have the peak I’d like.Biceps shape is all genetics.
One arm dumbbell preacher curls with that mega stretch has really seamed to help

It’s not bad. I made my own, I think it was about 2 years ago? Just some quality MCT and BA. I think I worked my way up to doing about 2cc’s at a time in the biceps. Gets sore at first but you get used to it. At the end of it though, I didn’t notice much of a difference.I have not - SEO terrifies me
