Deca for joint pain

Hey bros,

I've been having a lot of joint pain recently. I'm going to start with 200 mg/week of Deca and see if that helps. Does anyone have any thoughts on the least amount I can use that will help? Is there an amount that will help with joint pain but not give the dreaded Deca dick?

As long as you run some test you most likely will not experience deca dick. Also, deca is great for joint pain because it promotes collagen synthesis. 200mgs a week should be fine.
 
IIRC, thew therapeutic dosage for old ladies with bad knees etc was something like 50-100mg every couple weeks or even less often.

This leads me to agree with JM 425 that 200mg Deca will be enough to restore the levels of collagen synthesis that have been lost from exogenous test use & also leave a healthy surplus for extra healing too. While I don't think that 200 mg of Deca will be enough to cause Deca dick, adding 25mg of Proviron ED won't hurt your libido at all...

if you just want to use it so you can back to heavy lifting, keep an eye on it as it could be a problem waiting to happen.
 
Not to disrespect anyone here, but my experience with Deca and dick...run 200 long enough to get the benefits, even with test, and you'll get the limp effect also. Just my experience though.

With TRT dosage 200-250 every 7 days,,,my libido is outstanding,,never a case of limp dick ever,,just the opposite. I use Proviron too so that has a libido enhancing effect as well.

That sucks for you. I guess even a low dose of deca affects you negatively. Sorry to hear that. Everyone is different.

I never mentioned anything about ADDING any test, I was only assuming that Sablya was already using some sort of test & mentioned that adding some Deca would counter the collagen synthesis reduction caused by higher levels of exogenous test.

That person was misinformed. Research the issue & you'll find the studies that prove that Deca increases collagen synthesis. It's NOT just a water in the joints thing.

Muay Thai has some good studies on the issue.

Anavar also helps improve collagen synthesis.

Thanks to everyone for sharing info. I love this board because people are smart and respectful here.

I was planning on running 200 mg/week for a pretty long time, maybe a year. I don't really care about the DD problem. I don't have much oppt. to get laid anyway given my marital situation, and I have Viagra just in case a freakin' miracle happens. ;-)

Can Deca really help in joint repair? That sounds too good to be true. Why wouldn't every osteo sufferer be on it? I'd be thrilled if only it prevents further damage. If it only masks the symptoms and the damage is still occurring underneath, then I'll even settle for that. As long as it doesn't make things worse.

I love to lift. I dread to think I may have to give it up someday. I want to still be lifting when I'm 90. :)

Yeah, he's right. I've been running test for a while now. Not much right at the moment, just ~200 mg/week. I'm 47 now and don't have much natural so I just pretty much stay on all the time. I cycle through some heavy lifting so I'm sure I've caused damage to my joints. I've been pretty dumb too, not really warming up well and not stretching much.

I started doing mixed martial arts recently. Now, finally I'm stretching at least. I started out like a freakin' kung fu panda bear with pathetic flexibility! I imagine stretching too much too soon can place a lot of stress on tendons, right?

Normally I wouldn't advise anyone to trust their imagination, but in this particular case, I'd say your imagination is very wise.

Discretion is the better part of valour, so pick your battles soberly.

Trying to snap kick Andre the Giant under the chin might not be a good strategy for a guy who can't even touch his toes with a straight back & straight legs...

If you are looking for actually joint repair, hgh, igf, or any growth secratogue peps would be the way to go.

deca dick seems to be standard for some, even at lower dose than that. i belive the recommended dose is 2mg per pound of bodyweight.

have you looked into equipoise? do a google search on the 2 and collagen synthesis. everything i have read shows EQ to be even greater than deca for increasing collagen synthesis.

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I've just looked into it. It looks very interesting. I remember doing some reading on Alflutop before but I've never read about Adequan before now. What do you think about Alflutop and how it compares to Adequan?
