I had to give up IF after about 5-6 months

I started getting insane pains in my stomach, i had a camera down my throat but they could not see/find anything (ulcers, reflux etc etc). the pains would go away for about 3-4 weeks and then i would be bed ridden in the fetal position wondering what the hell was going on.

Stopped IF and havent had an episode since. i was doing a 9pm-12pm fast and on the days I got the pains, it would be like clockwork @ 3pm and then I knew I was in for a pretty fucked up aftenoon/night until the pain subsided thru the night.

i liked the convenience and the science behind it but I never want to feel like that again
 
So for pure fat loss alone what would some of you do on an IF? Like what times would you eat etc?
 

B-boy is your Marcos truly keto? Like around 70% fat? Or less?

I know after long fasts 16-18 hours daily, I could slowly transition to closer to 60/40 55/45 fat/protein if I kept MCT as some of my fat content
 
I’m all about the nutrient timing approach
Like Jordan peters and meadows use

I like the off days low to no carbs

And the bulk of my carbs intra (I train first thing in am sooooo pre and intra are the same lol). Post and post post

Having said that

I do think (esp since I was trained by skip hill, and got peeled with eating high hi shit post) that post workout bagels, cereals, waffles etc won’t kill you or affect your goals negatively

Outside the window I’ve always had to stick to the Tried and trues or I just didn’t have the same “look” and response

I would love to just be like iifym and it work

And I’ve seen some people that could do it
But they were the metobolic freaks that could eat doughnuts and mackie dees ANYWAY and be gnarly looking lol

I just realized you meant IF not IIFYM

There are to many damn acronym s now for eating lol

I hate IF
I shrank
And I got soft
Even if it was clean

Even with amino pulses (and casien hydro pulses)

Even with modified warrior diet

Nothing has worked for me like 6-8 straight a day
With a balanced approach
And mixed macros when possible

Feel better, get lean easier, all that

LOL, no, I may have started close to those macros when I first did keto years ago, but now that I have been fat adapted for so long I use fats as a lever depending on my goal.
