Killing evil cravings...??

Hey,

I'm am a 100% on or 100% off type person...

Basically it's like I have an "on" "off" switch in me that switches whichever way it wants to whenever it wants.

Simply, I am a hardcore dieter eating only the cleanest foods, or I am a slob eating everything whether or not it is edible.

As I have aged (not that I am old), it gets harder and harder to keep in hardcore format. For this, I have gotten up to 325lbs...

I have always been big, and don't mind it, however I feel my optimal weight ( a weight I could retain, and look good at) is around 260lbs... I have been as low as 212lbs.

So I have been pretty solid with my diet recently. I have dropped from 321lbs most recently to 298lbs. On top of it, my muscles are feeling and looking more solid.

This past week, I have been getting some of those old cravings. Like the urge to eat anything or everything. Or cravings for sugary sweets... Carb cravings in general... or just a combo of anything.

I have fought hard to get through them.

The annoyance is, I'm not hungry at the times of the cravings, I get these "phantom hunger pains" where I just want to eat something.

What recommendations does anyone have to help fight any type of cravings. At work I don't have much access or time for anything, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I really want to get back into the mid 200's like I was in my early 20's...

I have horrible cravings all the time. The only way I can overcome it is to eat before I am ever hungry. I end up eating 6-7 times a day, but I never cheat because I never feel the hunger. I hope you are able to get down to your goal. Being 300lbs is not a healthy way to exist. Good luck.:D
 
I think most people reach for imagery in this instance. Really keep in the back of your mind how you want to look, how great you will feel. There's no real way to get around the cravings that you get every now and then. You decide whether you succumb to them or not...
 
every time you crave stick 15-20 grams of psyllium husks in 1 pint of water then drink, then drink some more water. then wait and think about something else. or you could just try a large glass of water.

search it on google.. im very happy with the hunger control..
sometimes i have to make myself eat cuz i could go all day with nothing...and i really mean nothing.

i too get the cravings for sweets out of nowhere... and it wont go away until i give in. But thats my addictive personality..and my OCD
