Long term use and libido loss

Why would one who uses non-stop... 500mg of test e/600EQ all the time with HCG 250iu 3x per week, adex .25mg 2x/week have libido issues after a year and a half? Proviron is used 8 weeks on/off 25mg ED. No nandrolone/tren is used. Estrogen is in range, energy levels are fine. Sexual functioning is normal with morning wood and ability to achieve erection/orgasm... but interest isn't there... it feels like a chore to have sex and afterglow of sex is pretty much gone. I tried coming off for awhile and these things didn't change except for weaker erections... so I went back on with no luck. Anyone else who is on LT experience this? Is it piossibly dopamine/serotonin related?

I began DHEA 50mg per day a month ago with no improvement... I just need to know what I am looking for as a possible problem. Thanks.

I been on for 18 weeks and I had issues with acne,lethargy and sleeping problems but sex was always decent. Could be a problem with cortisal and prolactin.

I would come off and do a good pct. That's what I am doing right now.

in the short term try getting off the arimdex.. i had a buddy who issue with that and went to aromasin and after a couple of weeks was back to normal.. not saying that is it but this type of thing becomes a process of elimination..

Thanks for the responses guys... my prolactin is always in range on the low side... low 3's. I was thinking that the arimidex could be the problem, ie: it somehow effects libido outside of estrogen levels (considering that mine are in range). It just seems odd as these HRT guys swear by it (Dex). What is a comparable Aromasin dosage to Adex .25mg 2x/week?

I don't cruise and blast I just run the same dose all the time. 500mg test/600mg eq. I also apply retin-a to my shoulders and triceps 1x per day.

It is a wrinkle cream that is also effective for acne. It increases cell turnover and lessens the chance of clogged pores.

YOU ARE ONLY DOING 500MGS TEST.. SO THE CONVERSION TO ESTRO may be slight.. and eq does not have a high affinity to do so either.. i would try 12.5 ed.. just my opinion..

Your libido is low.

I had the same problem with Aromasin, so, too much of any AI may do it. I dropped it for a while and libido came back with a vengeance after a week or so, now maintaining low E levels with much less Aromasin and libido is good.

Thanks Lats... your advice has been helpful. I actually think that I am going to drop the AI's all together and just raise my proviron dose to 50 from 25 ED and evaluate from there. I have plenty of Nolvadex in case I have a problem, but I doubt it as AZ told me that there was no danger of rebound with Dex when I phoned them.

What are your AAS doses and A-Sin doses?

Was at 400mg Test E/ in 8 days (200mg every 4 days) with 12.5mg a day Aro and 50mg Anavar ED. Up 15 lbs, and not any fatter with just a little water, so Im pretty happy. 2 weeks till PCT.

I hadn't used anything in 15 years and used to bloat a lot (and get great results) on lower doses than above.

Well, I'm older now and boy things change! Good side is, I dont seem to be aromatizing much. But on the bad side, I lost my libido in week 4, really hard. Like you said, sexually, everything worked well, but I just had ZERO desire.

Stayed at 400mg a week and no Aro for 1 week, then got a little bloated...and pretty horny.

Now on the tail end of 400 a week and 12.5mg Aro EOD. Im horny as hell. (On a side note, a new girlfriend may be helping this situation a lot)
