my own thread about online classes hehe

i read through marty's thread about going back to school, and didn't wanna hijack it so I made my own, I'm curious as to how many people here have taken online classes to get their degree? (Strayer, UofPhoenix, UMUC, any of those or any other online schools)

With my new job, they pay 100% upfront, as long as you keep a c average, you're straight. there's also no cap on how much they pay out per year, so technically, I could take as many classes as I can handle and finish my degree.
I like the thought of accelerated classes and getting my degree a lot sooner, but I would like to know how other people have liked it, and what they think about the programs.

I originally majored in video productions, but went straight into field work and never finished, I plan on switching my major to Marketing, so if anyone has any input, I'd appreciate it.

I've taken several online courses through the University. They all work toward your degree! Glad things are going so well for you, Sir.

Hey bro,
Let me tell you I worked for Colorado Technical University Online for almost two years and also got my masters from there. It is a crock of shit, I got my MBA with a 3.73 and I tought for sure I would be getting job offers. I graduated in december 05 and barely get any offers. All sales jobs anyways and sales sucks. It also took them 5 months to get them my degree paperwork, I just got about a week ago. They just want your money and working there was worse. It was so unethical it was unbelievable, but you know what I might of just had a bad experience. No way, go to yahoo.com and put in AIU sucks and school is the same as CTU and then click on the RIp off report. You will get about 10000 people bashing both schools. Seriously if you want a degree that means something you have to go to a campus and be in a classroom enviroment. Take if from someone who went through the whole process. Also I am trying to get help from career services at CTU and leave them messages every other day and they never bother to call me back or even pick up the phone.
