How frequent do you guys feel like it's okay to use heavy stim based pwo's without developing tolerance? Sometimes I may go 1 on 1 off for a short period on a dmha-based preworkout and so far I don't feel like I've had any tolerance issues.
Do you feel like doing it this way you would feel tired the next day if you dont take the pre? In other words do you feel like there is some sort of a withdrawal? That is my fear when using stims too frequently.I like building up a little tolerance at first with a new stim like with excelsior recently I built up enough tolerance to take it comfortably when I occasionally need it otherwise every time I take it it’s to intense and harder to keep under control.

So elvia, let me pick your brain here for a second. What would you recommend to someone who wants something with more punch than a caffeine tab but isn't going to last hours and hours..
I dont want to be flying around all day like a hummingbird. Just want something that lasts 2-3 hours so I can go to town in the gym then gently let's me come back to normal without feeling like a sack of shit the rest of the day.

It sounds like you are just after what I would call a well rounded product that is strong but contains basic stimulants. So many could be mentioned if just comparing to a caffeine pill. It's important to note even with just a stimulant such as caffeine everyone metabolizes it differently. One person could take a standard dose of 300mg and it hits for a few hours max but another guy could be feeling it's effects for 6 hours. For people just wanting a short mental boost with minimal side effects they may have to be careful with dose and perhaps something such as dynamine only would be worth trying. Although here is my list for all rounders that give a great boost but don't leave you wired and most should be able to sleep approx 5 hours after taking them.
Dymatize PRE- Fantastic product that provides clean energy and great pumps. It doesn't give the euphoria of Excelsior but it has no negative side effects for me. Ideal for someone who can't use strong stimulants such as DMAA and DMHA. It contains a good mix of caffeine (300mg) and teacrine (125mg). I like to use this during my breaks from the stronger stimulants. It deserves 9.5/10.
MyProtein Preworkout+ Excellent product that made me feel great. Very well put together with an array of useful ingredients. 300mg caffeine, 1g n-acetyl-l-tyrosine and 150mg Alpha GPC (should be higher) work extremely well to give a great mental boost without over stimulating. This provides clean energy and fantastic pumps and is one of the best products I have ever used. I would give it a 9/10.
PRE JYM - This didn't impress me at first but the more I used it the more I liked it. I call it a complete pre workout and it performs in every sense (pumps, energy, focus, feel) and contains some useful ingredients. I would give it a 9/10.
