How frequent do you guys feel like it's okay to use heavy stim based pwo's without developing tolerance? Sometimes I may go 1 on 1 off for a short period on a dmha-based preworkout and so far I don't feel like I've had any tolerance issues.
 
I like building up a little tolerance at first with a new stim like with excelsior recently I built up enough tolerance to take it comfortably when I occasionally need it otherwise every time I take it it’s to intense and harder to keep under control.

No, because I will substitute with another stim that I have tolerance for but if I was to go completely stim free? Yeah! I would think about it constantly all day how bad I need a boost. Headaches would come it would be pretty bad.
 
I like to take dmma or dmha with
10mg anadrol (occasionally)
Half a tab of Cialis
And coffee
 
Man, for a second I thought the label said 'n,n dimethyltryptamine' and I was wondering how the HELL you could have a productive workout that way!
Lifting weights on Lucy is pretty fun Sprinting even more so.
 
Incidentally, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds (Beatles or Elton John) is somehow part of some of the music I listen to on the way to the gym.

Have a buddy who microdoses before weights and BJJ and swears by it.

It depends on the preworkout. For something really strong I would state no more than twice weekly. Save it for big body part days (legs in my case). For the other 3 (or so) days I will use a prewrokout that is just made up of standard stimulants (caffeine and teacrine). On those days the caffeine dose may still be high but it'a totally different to staying on the likes of DMAA/DMHA all through the week as often that will just burn you out over time. On my days out of the gym I use no stimulants if possible apart from cups of tea or maybe an odd coffee (approx 100mg caffeine). Occasionally I will also have a few days off everything and over time even longer breaks to regain full sensitivity. Following a system like this means you can still take in a decent amount of stimulants and even fairly regular hard hitting products but you avoid building up a tolerance and avoid burning out or withdrawals because of the regular breaks and rotation of stimulants/doses. The guys who take in hard hitting products and regular energy drinks or coffee through the day will always come into issues eventually.
 
I have never been able to tolerate the full pre-workout dose on the label of the caffeine + beta alanine powders. My issue is I just won't sleep at night with that much stimulant in my system. If I have a cup of coffee after noon, it is very difficult to fall and stay asleep that night. Usually I take half the suggested amount or pre-workout and I'm still bouncing off the walls for at least the next hour. A couple times a week I'll take a pre-workout stim if I think I need a boost but otherwise my normal routine is green tea and creatine daily.

I dont want to be flying around all day like a hummingbird. Just want something that lasts 2-3 hours so I can go to town in the gym then gently let's me come back to normal without feeling like a sack of shit the rest of the day.

Thank you for asking this. I've greatly, greatly cut back on stims and feel it's done positive things for stress and anxiety (duh). Preworkout now is basically half or whole caffeine tab, electrolytes and creatine. I'd like to try another preworkout to give a LITTLE boost but not have me wanting to yell at clouds and shit and not able to sleep that night. I've made my own before and may again, but Elvia always makes me spend money, eventually.

It sounds like you are just after what I would call a well rounded product that is strong but contains basic stimulants. So many could be mentioned if just comparing to a caffeine pill. It's important to note even with just a stimulant such as caffeine everyone metabolizes it differently. One person could take a standard dose of 300mg and it hits for a few hours max but another guy could be feeling it's effects for 6 hours. For people just wanting a short mental boost with minimal side effects they may have to be careful with dose and perhaps something such as dynamine only would be worth trying. Although here is my list for all rounders that give a great boost but don't leave you wired and most should be able to sleep approx 5 hours after taking them.

Dymatize PRE- Fantastic product that provides clean energy and great pumps. It doesn't give the euphoria of Excelsior but it has no negative side effects for me. Ideal for someone who can't use strong stimulants such as DMAA and DMHA. It contains a good mix of caffeine (300mg) and teacrine (125mg). I like to use this during my breaks from the stronger stimulants. It deserves 9.5/10.

MyProtein Preworkout+ Excellent product that made me feel great. Very well put together with an array of useful ingredients. 300mg caffeine, 1g n-acetyl-l-tyrosine and 150mg Alpha GPC (should be higher) work extremely well to give a great mental boost without over stimulating. This provides clean energy and fantastic pumps and is one of the best products I have ever used. I would give it a 9/10.

PRE JYM - This didn't impress me at first but the more I used it the more I liked it. I call it a complete pre workout and it performs in every sense (pumps, energy, focus, feel) and contains some useful ingredients. I would give it a 9/10.
 
Has anyone tried the Steel brand Amped pre? Interesting ingredient panel....

My go to, best all around is currently Hypermax extreme from performax. One of the best pre’s I’ve ever used. But I like to rotate different ones in and was thinking of tryin Steel’s

I've recently used the latest version of assassin, man I do not like this pre at all it. First time I took it I had a proper weird reaction to it, felt super claustrophobic and had to get outside, took it a couple more times and after a while it puts me in the worse mood ever. Also woke up in the night feeling claustrophobic like I couldn't breath properly.

Still loving excelsior but I've had to drop it to half a scoop and mix it with other pre's, if I take a full scoop at 8am I can't sleep the whole of the next night. It's ok if I mix it with something less insane.

Just got stimumax black from Strom, only tried it once, had loads of systemic effects but that didn't translate into a good work out. It's a little unfair to judge though because I am super over reached at the minute. Gonna take a few days off the gym to recover.

Quake 10.0. You can still find if of you try. Perfect for those of us who can push hard with minimal stims. Tons of pump and performance along with a little kick, all without feeling like you're on meth.

Hey Elivi,

What do you recommend for someone who has the opposite problem? A naturally high tolerance for stimulants and at the trail end of dieting phase.. Total War is my go to but would like something a little bit more stronger without going over 500mg in caffeine. I tried 5% 5150 and was disappointed, Total War was waaay better. Thanks :)
