Topical DHT Blocker

I'm looking for a good topical DHT blocker to add to my propecia regimen. Do you guys know of a really good one? I don't know if I want to use spiro...any advice? Thanks.

Why would yo need a topical antiadrogen if your taking propecia(finasteride) already, which acts systematically?


It makes sense if you plan to drop the propecia to use a topical antiadrogen(spiro or finasteride topically).


If you want to continue with the propecia(finasteride) orally just get a minoxidil formula with some 5% azelaic acid in it as that will have some antiandrogen effects.

I think those are the two you can use topically; nizoral and spiro. Never tried either only finasteride and dutasteride orally and rogaine worked very well for restoring some of my hairline but it was giving me side effects like facial bloating so i had to stop. If you're not already on rogaine, I suggest you try it for 8 motnhs or so and see what happens.

I take propecia and also use a shampoo that is 2% Nizoral, 2% spiro, and around 10% Azelaic Acid. Lather on in the morning and let sit for at least 5 mins, I let it sit for around 15 mins.

At night I will sometimes use a 2% spiro shampoo.

I heard there are nasty side effects from using that stuff. At least when I read about it a while ago. Don't quite remember what they were Specifically though...

Azelaic acid works too. And yes rogaine can cause facial bloating. It's been documented

Another idea to think about is to mix topical dutasteride into you nirozal. Ergo actually has it.

If It's for hair loss, the shampoo mentioned earlier works, if it's for prostate just take more finasteride.
