I was wondering if I could get some opinions on my training . Currently I am working out eod and its very much like Big A's HIT training with just 1 main working set but I am also dieting and trying to get somewhat cut and I notice where Big A said he switched from the HIT pre contest .I also want to state that I perform cardio each morning and I know that my diet is on point thanks to wyldeone and I am curerently 327lbs down from 356lbs. I was just kinda wanting to hear opinions on training while dieting some say low volume some say super sets dropsets etc.. this is the first time that I have dieted down and just want to try and do things the best I can . Thanks
 
ur recovery suffers more, so i find to stick with ur normal routine but an extra rest day or two a week may need to be added
 
The reason why I switch from HIT when I diet is because I usually only give myself 9 weeks to get from Lee priest fat levels to competition shape. Because of that, I switch to twice daily, 6 days a week training plus daily cardio, as I try to burn as many calories as possible. My very high protein levels (500g+ daily) plus TONS of gear make sure I don't lose muscle.
If I'd give myself plenty of time to lose the fat slowly, I would do HIT straight through the dieting phase, but I try to lose the fat as quickly as possible (9 weeks) as I get bored toherwise and I start hating the comp prep, and I only do bb for the fun of it.

amen to that brother. thats what i do to from now on. 16 weeks is torturous.
 
im no IFBB pro but i sure no one thing....im not into tortureing myself. this is my 3rd year competeing and never have i ever been motivated to diet for 12-16 weeks out from a show. i tell myself if i cant do it in 6-9 weeks then fuck it.
