Scratch made meatballs and gravy. Should be ready in tne minutes
My Italian grandma would pan fry the meatballs first then cook in the gravy with meat. Gravy? you must be Italian? you didnt say sauce lol Early sunday morning. Then she would fry the pasta and meatballs in the cast iron pan the next day for me after school. Actually taste better the next day.. Thanks Heavyhitter. good stuff brother

I have a trip planned this year to hunt elk and wild hog. Rather than the traditional veal, beef pork meatball mix, im thinking elk and hog with scratch made pasta.
Hunted. skinned, and ate the Russian wild boar. Delicious lean white meat.

That’s exactly what I did. I sautéed them in olive oil in a cast iron skillet, and then transferred them to the pot I was making the gravy in. And we always did spaghetti sandwiches next day. Place cold spaghetti in between two slice of bread that have been buttered with garlic and oregano. Then pan fry til toasted. A mazing

Instant pot skills are getting better. Seeing how simple I can get with just throwing shit in there and having a meal shortly after

Chicken, asparagus, mushrooms, g Hughes BBQ sauce

Good fuckin Jesus that sounds exactly like what I'd order, too

Enjoy

Anybody ever do boneless skinless chicken thighs?? I love those, not great on the fat side but damn the flavor is good, especially with the right spices. Wegmans has marinated ones (Garlic Parmesean) that are slamming. Put that with a little pasta, sprinkled with Nutritional Yeast and it is amazing!

Some of you guys here need to start a meal prep company.

I've had a few people ask me to cook for them lol, and been offered to pay for one of my 'breakfast burritos' I take to work which is usually just steak or eggs, couple peppers and mushrooms, little cheese, some avocado, all rolled up in a Joseph's Lavash wrap and maybe a little light sour cream

I do thighs all the time. This is my recipe for chicken cacciatore with thighs
Chicken cacciatore

6 cut chicken pieces. I prefer thighs for the flavor and texture
1 medium diced onion
3 cloves chopped garlic
1 small red and 1 small yellow bell pepper diced
1 large carrot chopped
10 Oz sliced mushroom
28oz crushes tomatoe(I never use anything but cento brand. Absolutely the best flavor and color)
2 tbl tomatoe paste
2 chopped Roma tomatoes

Season chicken with salt and pepper and sear in olive oil over med high (I prefer a cast iron or porcelain enameled skillet)

Remove chicken to plate and sauté veggies until translucent. 5-8 minutes
Add in 1/2 cup red wine to deglaze and simmer until liquid is almost gone
Add the tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, paste, and chili flakes to taste and some fresh thyme sprigs
Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 45 minutes until meat is very tender. Remove lid and add a small jar of green or kalamata olives and some fresh chopped parsley. Serve with plenty of crusty bread for dipping

My wife is actually trying to convince me to open a food truck. And I’ve had lots of coworkers buy prepped meals and loaves of bread from me
