It was 57 today according to my bp cuff. It’s a lot slower since I had to stop AAS. I never feel it pound at rest like in the good old days of 4+ grams of gear a week. 😂

Mine fluctuates between 70-80, averages out about 74-75 from day to day. I'm sure if I did more cardio those numbers would improve

Probably. You should be doing cardio and you should want that HR lower. Take care of yourself here.

Point taken, you're right, I should be more serious about my HR and BP. I do track my BP as well and it's not the best either.

My pulse was 45 this morning. It’s never been that low.

Wow this is probably why your health genetics seem to be pretty good compared to average. I saw 56 today, which was the lowest I have ever seen before.

My heart rate has run high my whole life, according to my watch my resting heart rate is 73 bpm

Without medication, whats the best way to lower it?

Cardio? I barely do cardio lol. My blood pressure is healthy though.

Also, I heard in a podcast the other day that the difference between your heart rate when resting and then when you initiate an exercise can be a huge indicator of athletic ability.

Russian cosmonauts who had to train their bodies and minds intensely to become part of the space exploration team were recorded to have an increase of like 40 BPM in a matter of seconds when they needed to complete a physical task. Really cool!

Mine is nothing to write home about but I thought my daughters was worth sharing. She is down to 32 bpm. She started running a year ago, lost a bunch of weight and is Vegan. She is 30 years old. I have never heard of anyone having a resting heart rate that low.

mine is low-mid 50s, trt 120mg a week, don't do any big doses nowadays but when I go to 250 a week RHR remains the same.

Is LIsS cardio the most effective method to lower it? Mine is too high at 80

Does cardiotone help?

Physical activity that maintains a HR between 55 to 90% of your max. Max is 220-age. That is just a guideline for max, yours may differ some.

15 to 60 minutes a session and 3 to 5 days a week.

Those were the recommendations I have in my graduate school textbook from 1991,lol a bit old. I suspect it hasn't changed too much since then.

Always

Mine has always been in the mid 90's. I am 49 and I cant ever remember it being lower.

HRT 200 mg per week.

I would be a bit concerned with that. Hopefully your cardiovascular system is just out of shape and you need cardio.

If it were a bit higher you would be classified as having tachycardia, which is anything 100 or higher. I would at least get an ekg done if I were you.

I will agree with this. Mine has since lowered into the 80's for the most part, which is headed in the right direction. I honestly think nandrolone is a contributing factor for me. I'm down to 150mg test a week, so we'll see how I fare with that.
