I guess im saying Id rather deal with someone within my age bracket (im 38) than an immature girl who knows nothing of life and can't hold a conversation unless it's done over texts.
Its one thing if it's sexual, it's another thing if you want substance. My situation is temporary either by my choice or hers...currently, your correct...she is bringing the baggage to the table. Hopefully though something else wil come along.

ok, here goes.

1) your interest level was way above hers. mistake #1

2) you talk to her too much. do you do this on the phone as well? Mistake #2

3) give the woman some space.

4) be seen with other women. talk, laugh, have fun. let her see that you are wanted by other women (you can use females friends for this)

5) BE A CHALLENGE! do not tell her your life's History right out of the gate.
she probably perceives you as being desperate.

Gotta be honest with you, in my experience single, older women have FAR more baggage than a young lady. It seems like your love interest falls in to that category.

Yeah, but most of us in our late 30's wouldn't have anything in common with a chick in their 20's.In fact, they would annoy the fuck out of me.
My best friend bangs chicks in th 20's when he gets the chance, but wouldn't think of dating them.

Hey all.
I Know being married for 20 years and going through this has to be taxing to some degree.

This is a huge understatement. Her identity as she has known it for 20 years is upside down right now. There is nothing worse than dealing with someone trying to figure who they are. Distance yourself and be available only on her terms with the understanding that your relationship with her may go nowhere and you are willing to get hurt if you really like her.
