Antibiotic interactions with AAS

One of the very first things I was told about AAS was never to use with an antibiotic because they fight for the same receptor sites. I've done a lot of searching on this topic, but haven't found much info, and the info I have found is inconclusive. Therefore, I was wondering if any of you have real experience with this. What did you use and how did it affect the use of one another?

I got a staph infection recently in the middle of my cycle. Doc put me on 750mgs Levaquin (big dog dose), and it took care of the infection without any loss of strength or size. As a matter of fact, I continued to improve since the infection was going away.
