Eh, I don't think DC needs to be messed with. If you do as laid out you will build plenty of strength and muscle. This program is way more complicated, has less rest, and even has you rest pausing things like rows and squats. Not a good idea IMO.

The link doesnt work but i can say 110% that if you do DC training the way it is laid out and you don't go 'fixing' it, you will make some of the greatest gains of your life. The program works, i dont think you need to go tinkering with it.

just my humble opinion. I just posted some pics up after my last blast and i definitely think i made some quality gains with dc.

This is the best advice ever. I wasted a lot of time trying to find the "best" programs when I was first starting out.

Ever tried it? YouTube Jeremy grey and watch him doing box squats with band. It is pretty bad ass...

Using bands with squats= good
Rest pausing squats= BAD

Thats what he meant brother, under DC you do not rest pause squats, deads etc...

Link is fixed

Nothing wrong with pause squats and dead imo... HTC-12 has you rest pausing your 6rm squat.

HTC12 is a very good program from what I have experienced. I tried the 6rm method for some bodyparts late last year just to see how it would work and I gotta say, there is some potential in this program. The 6rm is killer with the triple doubles at the end. I still wouldnt rest pause squats, but thats just me and the DC method.
