I'd first have to ask a few questions...
1. How long have you been training? (I don't mean on and off training or training like most typical gym go-ers. I mean how long have you been training with intensity following sound programming).
2. Have you only had one blood test done? Levels can vary sometimes. Perhaps get it tested at a different time of day and take the averages of the two.
3. What are your goals specifically?
4. Are you willing to be on TRT for the rest of your days?
These are good things to ponder. Aother ones to think about.
1. What is your diet.
Soy products and other additives can lower testosterone. There are a lot of phytoestrogens in food and the environment. If you are sensitive to some of these they could be pushing down your testosterone. This is more common than you think.
2. do you consume alcohol?
Alcohol raises entrogen levels which in turn suppresses testosterone. So, alcohol consumption should be limited or eliminated.
3. Are you holding substantial body fat? The aromatase enzyme lives in adipose tissue. The more bodyfat the higher your estrogen. Knocking off some fat will raise your testosterone.
So if you want to stay natural these are things you can address above. You could then retest and se where you're at. Hiuman males can gain a substantial amount of muscle mass naturally. Over a 5 year period you should be abe to put on 15-20 lbs of lean mass. When I was a young guy all us Italian kids went to the YMCA and trained balls to the wall. It was mid 1970s. No steroids around or common back then. Everybody put on muscle. You can look good lean amnd usclular wkthout juice. It takes hard training esp with squats, deads, presses from the rack and bench press, good nutrition, and rest.
