Recommended dose of XANAX for complete knockout?

My doctor gave me a script for XANAX for my fear of flying. Honestly, I'd rather be dead than on a airplane.

Anyhow, flying down to Houston on thursday and need to know how much to take and how soon before the flight. My weight is 282 and I'm 32 years old.

Now, I hear that hurricane Dolly is going to pound Southwest. Now, I'm already having a panic attack

2 mg had me sleeping for about 8 hours, didnt knock me out but felt so sleepy that as soon as i closed my eyes i was out.

Took about 30 to 45 mins to kick in. Cant recall exactly.
