Food part 2. What do you force down that you hate?

nothing really. I eat a lot of asparagus, and if I am not super hungry, I don’t really enjoy it. Otherwise its great... I put Nordic naturals fish oil in my whey shakes. I don't care for it particularly well...
 
LIVER! yuuuuck! but I eat it cause it's good for you. So I hold my nose. LOL But I can't eat turkey drumsticks. No matter what! Something about the size of them turns me off. :eek:
 
i have a love hate relationship with chicken, just cooked whole chicken with some stuffing i love but chicken breasts on there own even with some sauce or marinade sometimes its like im eating grit
 
I don't really eat anything that I hate. If I had to choose it would be any type of fish. On the rare occasions that I eat tuna from a can, every bite is quickly followed by a big chug of water LOL...

Most protein powders, I tried everything out there. Just can't get myself to drink them,,, well unless I make it unhealthy.
 
Tuna. And I'd bet its the #1 answer on here. Cheap, and great protein for us, but ohh the taste. Prob the reason its good for you and CHEAP.
 
I don't HATE tuna but it's easily my least favorite protein source that I use... sometimes I just don't have the food prepped and I do what I have to.

Chicken, steak, ground turkey, eggs(grown to like these more), powders don't really get old but if I never had to eat tuna again I wouldn't be upset. This isn't counting actual fresh tuna which I love, speaking of the canned/pouched tuna.
 
I think the way you prepare the food is the key. A barbequed plain chicken breast tastes far better than one pan fried. Oatmeal ground into a shake is obviously more tolerable than cooking and forcing it down that way.

Tuna is brutal. That's a last resort protein source as far as I'm concerned. I used to think it was a necessary evil, and choked it down with water, but why eat fish from a can when you can prepare chicken, beef or steak? Plus, my cousin used to eat tuna from the can 2-3x a day for half his meals and he developed some sort of skin rash that the doc attributed to his high tuna intake. Take that for what it's worth.

Freash Tuna, or at the Sushi rest,,, is awesome.

Agreed, eggs are a good example for me.

Plain egg whites scrambled just wouldn't cut it for me and I'd grow to hate them again for sure. My last meal was egg whites+1 whole egg, some ground turkey... chipotle salsa, red onions and a little fresh garlic, sea salt and a spicy steak seasoning. A little chopping and food combining makes things a LOT better.
 
Tuna...and more than that, Chicken. I f'n hate Chicken.
