Its sad that the media is trying to pin this Benoit thing solely on steroids. Obviously this guy had some issues. Its not like he shot up some test, took some dbol and went ape shit. He had some deep mental issues. Ok, maybe steroids amplified his agression. But if a guy is going to kill someone, he will do it while using AAS or not.

This interview was just a witch hunt really. They say 16 wrestlers have died in the past 10 years. Well no shit. We are talking about stunt men here basically. I wonder how many professional stunt men have died in the past 10 years. Plus, the nature of this sport is aggression. So you normally don't attract the most upstanding citizens in the first place. Many of these deaths are rec drug related, and many more WWE athletes are using more rec drugs than AAS. And I'd be willing to bet Benoit was using rec drugs too. These guys are all hopped up on pain killers, anti-depressants, and who knows what else. All of which are highly addictive especially since these guys have to perform day in and day out regardless of how they feel that day.

But lets all pin it solely on AAS. This is just piss poor reporting.

Sometimes I wonder how certain members of the media can look themselves in the mirror without shame or disgust. I'm not merely talking about the steroid topic--I'm referring to overall.

Nash asked her if she had ever taken steroids because she basically called him a liar and questioned his credibility---they then, of course, ran out of time. This country is Horrible when making assumptions. Ever notice that the best people to turn to for help or advice are the ones who have been in the situation? How many sports talk show hosts who have never played a sport past grade school sit there and assume they know things about the game just because they watch it?

Here's another example of experience being the best teacher--- A reformed junkie will probably be much more help to someone who is going through withdrawal (I'm speaking in this case of recreational drugs) than some PHD who had "read" and "studied" how someone might react or feel.

People "think" they know what it would feel like to use gear, but they don't. Some folks just don't put in enough thought before speaking---well, they say the masses are asses

I always thought Fox News was a decent news channel. Not great but okay and now I see this and lose alot of respect for that channel and those interviewers.
