Curious to how much* people are eating to maintain their size.
I know it often is largely genetic but I imagine this thread will give perspective on how much food is “enough” for them.

How many calories do you eat daily to maintain?
I’ll start, reverse dieting out of my last cut and stalled with 4800 calories at 220. No cardio.
 
I dont eat a lot of food anymore the older I get, this past offseason my maintenance was about 3300 calories
5ft5 224 will very visible abs.
 
Currently 4000
6’1” 255lb
Put on roughly 15lbs in the past year.

Exactly 2900 keeps me 184-186 where I'm an ok bf. Any less I start to lose weight quickly and get leaner. Any more I fill out , more muscular, but waist shoots up 2-3 inches and not as lean. Wouldn't say I'm a meso because they typically put on muscle easily, but I can weigh 177 or 220+, just depends on my caloric intake. Last time I tried to bulk I think in the 4000's had me up to 209 and adding weight each week. I have a huge appetite so I was loving life.
 
On 2 high carbs days I eat 6400. Other 2 trainingdays are 5900, 3 rest days are about 3400 but I sometimes mess up and eat a burger or so.

Edit : this is while adding some size at 6.2, about 240 and 8%.
 
2x a day 6 eggs with 50 grams of Cheddar and spoon of coconut oil
4 burgers
1x 50 gram whey with 10 grams of mct
1x 50 gram casein with 50 gram of brazil nurs
1 avocado
This is what i eat almost every day and it keep my 97 kg
 
Starting with

3500 cals 500+

2 high days a week 1000+ with a cheat meal

Then slowly ramping up

5’9 , 210lbs recently out of prep

4 burgers
1x 50 gram whey with 10 grams of mct
1x 50 gram casein with 50 gram of brazil nurs
1 avocado
This is what i eat almost every day and it keep my 97 kg
You have great discipline, I'd be starving lol
 
Damn some of you guys have crazy metabolisms. My maintenance is about 3200 cals, I'm 5-10 and stage weight is ~205. Currently eating 2k because I took 5 years off and got fat as hell.
 
2800 calories on normal days..but most Saturdays when I don’t workout, work, or do cardio I will usually only eat breakfast..it’s my normal breakfast that I have every day..just 8-10oz of steak

Feel great on it , when carb day coming i just can eat and eat and eat, carbs never satisfy my hunger like fats does.
 
I think you underestimate power of satiation protein and fats together. Those two macros are hunger killers.
I have never been so constantly full in my life when doing all protein.

I had to do a complete elimination diet several times for autoimmune disease..so, I started with just red meat for the first month or two..after a while a while you get so full on the protein in the absence of carbs it’s ridiculous.

Looks like carnivore diet.
 
2800/185= about 15, I think 15xbw is what your supposed to eat roughly to maintain. So I guess my metabolism isn't fast or slow jist average. Is there anything we can do to speed it up where we can take more nutrients and maintain? Obviously build more muscle but we're all already doing that.

I can say when I throw in more cardio my weight doesn't really dip, or I'm not able to maintain weight at more. Tells me the body adapts. I can jack up cardio or change drugs weight wont move much. But I add or drop those calories the scale moves like a charm. Even small bumps in calories say 100 Ed, the scale goes up quicker than it would based on what youd expect.
