Help On T3-Bunk Or Real

Apart from noticing the sides, I heard you can identify your T3 whether it is real or bunk from doing blood work. My question is, I would like to know what difference will you notice in blood work if T3 is real? And in how many days after starting T3 do you do the blood work for the same? Please share your knowledge.

You'll have a left shift of your TSH (lower TSH reading) a lowering of fT4 (if you know what your baseline is prior to T3) and a rise in fT3. This is all dose dependant.

There's other identifiers. Subjectively those are the more pronounced values you'll notice on a thyroid panel with liothyronine usage.

Thanks Stewie and how many days or weeks after starting T3 do you think I should do the blood work to get a clear picture, considering that I will be using 25 mcg for week 1 and increasing 25mcg every week upto 150mcg max?

Realistically a week would suffice. Why the need to run so much T3?

I'd highly suggest not to run such a high dose. There's several consequences that will surface running such high doses. One being the potential to invoke venous thrombosis. Not to mention, it'll be next to impossible to meet the caloric demand to offset the catabolic effects of hyperthyroidism.

That's food for thought :)

12.5mcgs twice per day is plenty enough for most to create an environment for anabolism.

Difference I notice is t3 levels are low afterwards. My last test results I got back this week and was maybe a week and a half after I tapered down to 12.5 for three weeks, mine wre still low

I saw a study where a person used t3, then tapered down to 12.5 mgs for three weeks, a;; thyroid levels, if im not mistaken bounced back faster so i tried that approach. Another indicator is high blood sugar levels as low t3 and high glucose levels are common

To the OP, Why not try keeping track of your temperature?

Last time I took liquid T3 MY T4 was really high, Is it possible that my endogenous T4 was pooling as a result of taking Exogenous T3? I was super tired and relaxed on low dose T3 which made me think I didn't produce enough cortisol to utilize it properly? Taking iodine gives me the same result as far as fatigue and brain fog is concerned

I just started taking t3 again for the first time in years, this might sound crazy but I think its giving me really bad hiccups? I wouldn't have thought it was the T3 but MY friend had the same exact problem a few months ago with a different brand. Im only taking 25 mcg and have horrible Acid reflux and hiccups.

Stewie do either of these scenarios sound possible to you? I guess I'm more concerned about the hiccups cause the acid reflux could be cause from viagra. I've been suffering for three days now.

If you read the first sentence of my post, you will understand that I particularly wanted to know about the blood work indications and not the side effects related things which I already know. Stewie has answered to the point and I hope he helps you out too.
